Campervan, motorhome and caravan cabinetry is a compact-space planning problem before it's anything else. Every locker, drawer and benchtop on the Gold Coast has to work harder than its equivalent in a house — a kitchenette, seating, bed base and storage all sharing a footprint measured in a few square metres.

Weight matters in a way it doesn't in a home. Campervan cabinetry and motorhome fitouts are built with lighter panel products and fixings than residential joinery where the design allows, without compromising how securely a cupboard, drawer or benchtop is fixed in place for driving and rough roads.

The joinery itself follows the same design process as our residential and commercial work — measured to the specific vehicle, drawn, manufactured and installed — but built around a completely different set of constraints: tight tolerances, vibration, and a layout that has to earn every centimetre.
